Courson named CEO of Home Builders Institute

Former head of the Mortgage Bankers Association replaces Fredrick Humphreys, who retires at year’s end John Courson, former head of the Mortgage Bankers Association, has been named president and CEO of the Home Builders Institute. Courson will replace longtime HBI president and CEO Frederick Humphreys, who will retire at the end of this year. Humphreys has led HBI for 11 years. Courson is a widely recognized housing industry spokesperson who headed MBA from 2008 until June of this year.
